How accurate is the AI detection?
Our AI detection engine currently maintains over 98% accuracy on modern deepfakes and AI-generated images. However, forensic analysis is an evolving field, and we recommend using multiple verification steps (metadata + reverse search + AI detection) for critical cases.
Does Reverser store my images or videos?
No. To ensure your privacy, we only temporarily process your files for analysis. Once the analysis is complete, the files are deleted from our processing servers (typically within 24 hours). If you use "Privacy Mode," metadata extraction is performed entirely on your device.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?
Free users get 10 verifications per day. Premium members get unlimited verifications, access to advanced deepfake forensic models, batch processing, and priority support.
Can Reverser detect AI-generated text?
Yes! We include a dedicated NLP forensic model that analyzes text patterns to detect signatures commonly left by Large Language Models like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini.
How does Reverse Search work?
Reverse search allows you to find where an image has appeared on the internet before. We integrate with major visual indexes like Google Lens, Yandex, and Bing to track down the earliest known appearance of a file.
What is EXIF/Metadata extraction?
Metadata is "data about data" hidden inside files. It can reveal the camera model used, GPS coordinates where a photo was taken, and whether editing software like Photoshop was used to modify the image.
